NC State Trooper seriously injured by drunk driver
Donation protected
On September 16, my brother— A North Carolina State Trooper was seriously injured in a head-on collision by an impaired driver. He has been a trooper for about five years. He is very committed to his profession and does a great job out here every day.
In the accident he suffered a broken ankle, foot, knee, wrist, shoulder and several other fractures. He has undergone many surgeries and spent about 2 weeks in the hospital and rehab facility. In the coming months he will undergo several other surgeries to repair his broken bones and intense physical therapy.
Due to his injuries and extended time in the hospital he and his fiancé decided to cancel their wedding scheduled for October 13th.
He has a very long road to recovery and will be out of work for a while.
This GoFundMe is to raise money to help him and his family pay for any outstanding medical bills or expenses that may arise, supplement his income while he is not able to work and help with household modifications so he can get around his home while he is bound to a wheelchair. Due to the numerous fractures in his leg and ankle he will be in a wheelchair for quite a while.
His accident could have been a lot worse and we are all very thankful to have him with us today and appreciate all of the prayers and good vibes that have been sent to him and our family.
If you would like to help him in anyway it would be greatly appreciated.
