Help Kevin...

Kevin is my significant other of 12 years. He is a hard working, loyal, loving father and spouse. He is a 49 year old self employed contractor. On July 6th 2023 he was in an accident and fell into a deep hole full of scrap metal causing a sever laceration to his left leg. Unfortunately, we do not have health insurance on Kevin. Kevin has made sure me and my daughter have insurance but he could not afford it for himself. We have been shopping around recently for health insurance and then this occurred. When the accident happened he was taken to the ER, then we had to follow up with a surgeon. Now he needs to establish a PCP because he hasn't been to the doctor in many many years. Once a PCP is established he will then have to be referred to a wound specialist. The surgeon we saw on Monday expressed concern about the wound and mention surgery. All of these doctor visits, ER visits, wound care, etc... will be out of pocket expenses. Kevin does not know I am creating a Gofundme page because he would be against it. He does so much for our family and not enough for himself. He is a father of 2 and has raised my daughter since she was 4. He has a new grandson who absolutely stole his heart. Kevin has conquered many demons in his life and loves God with his whole heart. He works 60+ hours a week. He has stuck by me through mental illness issues. He has saved every dime he has ever made to give us a good life. I need help helping him now...
