Every Little Bit Can Help

***UPDATE**** Nathan’s resilience prevails, the chemo is working and he’s more than halfway there!!! The Casellas would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone. The outpouring of love, well wishes and continued prayers are felt every day, and every little bit truly helps. There still is time to donate to this family during this time. Nathan John Casella was born on June 26 2014. It was a beautiful summer day.

 

It. Was. Perfect. 

He. Was. Perfect. 

 

He came into the world in a rush and just like that the Casella family was complete.

 

Since that day Nathan has filled their home with countless: joy, giggles, video games, ninja battles, Legos and Minecraft.

 

If you are lucky enough to have spent some time with Nathan you will quickly notice that he fills your heart with a playful innocence led by a luminary imagination. If you have taken a moment to listen to Nathan you will notice that he is made up of a depth, and intelligence that far surpasses his age.

 

It was just two thousand six hundred and ten days after one of the happiest days of their lives that the Casellas world felt as though it came crashing down. This was the day the doctors shared that their “little man” may have cancer.

 

Just 20 days later, on a fateful day in September they received the confirmed diagnosis that no family ever wants to hear, that their son, Bella’s little brother, my Godson, Nathan John has stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma and that it’s time to be - Nathan Strong - 

 

We have received many requests to donate to Nathan’s cause. Every little bit can and will help. Proceeds will go towards the various related costs and expenses as he embarks on the this unexpected journey.
