NCBA NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

The UCONN BOXING TEAM was founded in 2015. Since then, the team has sent 11 boxers to the NCBA NATIONAL TOURNAMENT. Over the last 8 years(minus 2 covid years) the University has also amassed 5 All Americans, but even more impressive is it's graduation rate of 98%.

Although funded by the University, the funds are limited and not in comparison to other major University sports. For instance, University rules puts 4 boxers in a room for 4 nights. Through the use of our GO FUND ME page, we are hoping to give these student athletes an experience similar to those that have earned full scholarships.

This year we are sending a record 7 boxers to the big show. No special dinning hall, private tutor or free tuition, just a desire to be the best and make UCONN and the State of Connecticut proud.

Any amount will go a long way and give you the feeling of knowing your part of UCONNS fastest and largest most successful sport in its short existence !
