Emergency Kidney Transplant
Donation protected
Mohammed Musah, a 29-year-old vibrant young man needs an emergency kidney transplant to survive. Firstborn in a family of four, he lost his father to diabetes last year, and the mother permanently disabled from a motor vehicle accident during his late father’s funeral. Following the passing of his dad, the young man pursued his education vigorously to achieve a career in a laboratory technician and earn a job, to bring the family out of the grief they were engulfed in and to support his siblings and ailing mother. Mohammed is a very kind-hearted young man, with a passion for helping others.
Mohammed’s dreams of graduating and attaining a career are shut as he’s faced with an unexpected diagnosis of End-Stage Renal Disease, and currently on maintenance with Chronic Hemodialysis, a very sophisticated, expensive and unsustainable medical procedure as the cost is skyrocketing. Mohammed requires HD treatment three (3) times weekly to sustain his current health status for a future kidney transplant procedure.
Mohammed Musah is currently at the Tamale Teaching Hospital in Ghana. As this type of treatment cannot be performed in Ghana, the doctors advised that he should be flown outside the country, and India has been identified as the most cost-effective to perform a kidney transplant. The cost to fly Mohammed, and possibly a close relative kidney donor, medical procedure, and pre and post-transplant care estimated at $75,000.
Mohammed’s family is soliciting funds from kindhearted individuals like you and philanthropists to help save his life. He has a long life left to live. Please donate to save this young man’s life.
