--Well, just received some news this week that is a back breaker for me and my family. I was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney Failure. It is not curable and it is end stage. I will be entering into dialysis and with a little bit of luck and God's grace, be a recipient of a new kidney. I was told this IS the end of the road for my kidneys. I will be entering into dialysis 4 times a week for 4 to 5 hours a day. My condition has left me unable to provide for my family and to maintain a roof over their head, food for them to eat and basic necessities. This long road with dialysis will cost my family a small forturne we can't take on. It is a dire situation for my family and although we would like to be able to focus soley on my health and path to a successful kidney transplant, but as we all know real life doesn't stop. I feel so bad for my family, that has to endure this with me, but I couldn't ask for a better one. I have always been a working man and this is going to be a hard thing for me to do....as I have always been the bread winner in my family. I just want my wife and kids to be able to have a home and have basic necessites and for me to be able to have a clear mind and bill of health going into this battle. I am so humiliated to even post this, but I know my family needs the help that I can not provide now. I can't even see my daughter's last volleyball matches this year, and that hurts my soul. I want to be around so that I don't have to miss those things, or miss my daughters doing the crazy things young girls do. Yes, I said it....I actually like being around all girls (keeps me on my toes)...at least I have a male dog to help balance things out a little now :). Please pray for me, my health, a successful transplant and most of all my family. I am not big on social media and so I am going to use my wife's facebook as my platform. I know, I need to get with the new century :). Every little bit will help. Help me to give my family a chance and to help my body receive a successful kidney transplant. I need everyone's prayers and help!
