Castleton Festival in

Hey everyone, I hope you are good health and well. My name is Jorge Belonni and I am an aspiring, passionate man with the desire to have an opera career. For the Summer of 2015 I have been accepted to the prestigious Castleton Festival founded by the late virtuoso violinist, conductor and composer Lorin Maazel. I will be part of the Castleton Artists Training Seminar (C.A.T.S. Program), which in it will include weekly voice lessons, French and German lessons, career preparation, Alexander's Technique, stage combat and many performing opportunities. In the last few years I have been doing my masters degree in Voice Performance and Literature at the University of Illinois. While being there I have had the blessing and honor to portray many different roles. Last November I performed the role of Dulcamara in the opera L'Elisir d'Amore for the Lyric Theatre @ Illinois. Before that in 2013 I performed the role of Pistola in Verdi's Falstaff, in a production of the University of Illinois Opera, and in 2012 as El Capitan in Daniel Catán's Florencia en el Amazonas also a production of the University of Illinois Opera.
