Replacing Farmer Dan's stolen saws

Most of you know that we rely on firewood sales to see us through the winter until farming starts up in the springtime. Last Sunday night, Farmer Dan's two Stihl chainsaws were stolen. It's been a very challenging (awful) farming year with multiple farm truck repairs, rain all summer and having to plow under crops before they bore saleable fruit.
Two years ago, Dan's Stihl saws were stolen (we presume) by an ex-con he felt sorry for and let live in our barn during the winter. The man knew Dan kept the saws locked up tight so he found a way to remove the heavy duty hinges from our cooler door and the saws and the ex-con were gone. That year we managed to replace the saws with the meager profits from farming. No so this year.
We have been contacted by numerous friends wanting to help us replace these saws and though we feel violated by the theft we are blessed to be reminded of the goodness in your hearts!
Dan especially needs the big saw replaced ASAP as it is the "workhorse." It retails for $1,209.00 before sales tax. If we raise enough funds we will get the smaller saw replaced either new or used.
