100k in March

Hi, my name is Shannon and as a lot of you know my mum passed away in August 2024 which has been incredibly difficult for our family as she was our rock.

Mother’s Day this year is going to look slightly different for me as I won’t have my mum here to celebrate the amazing woman she was and still is to me and both my sisters. I’ve decided to raise money for St James University Hospital who took care of my mum on her final days by running 100k in the month of March.

For anyone that knows me, I am not a massive runner and this is a huge challenge for me but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and raise as much money as possible for an incredible hospital.

I can’t fault the hospital or staff, they were truly amazing and I will be forever indebted to them for everything they did.
