Neal's life altering car accident recovery fund

We are fundraising for a dear friend and member of the SaltSpring Island community. Neal Kennedy was is a horrific accident on Tuesday November 2nd in Ganges. The car was a total write off, and he was lucky to have survived. He suffered a broken back, impact trauma to his kidneys, dislocated his shoulder and is currently in Victoria General being monitored and treated for his injuries. Neal had surgery on his back November 5th, which was also his birthday. Unfortunately due to his injuries, it is unlikely that Neal will be able to continue working after his recovery. We are hoping to rally some funding together to support Neal and his partner Isela through the next couple of very difficult months. Our thoughts will be with him as he heals up and regains mobility.
