Nealy Family

Sergeant William “Bill” Nealys’ co-workers would like to take a moment to tell you about a great father and what a selfless individual he is personally and professionally, throughout his 11 year tenure at the West Palm Beach Police Department (Palm Beach County, Florida).Throughout Bills’ career he has worked tirelessly to combat gang violence and bridge gaps between Law Enforcement and the community he serves.

While assigned to the Community Response Team-Juvenile Unit, Bill and his co-workers worked passionately with kids in the community.  Bill was instrumental in affecting the lives of countless less fortunate children teaching them violence and drugs were not a way life.  Bill recruited and encouraged all children to become involved in positive programs.  “Cops & Scholars” is a perfect example of this.  “Cops & Scholars” hosts weekly lunches and dinners where quality time is spent positively influencing kids in the community.

Bill and his co-workers have great success stories where they were instrumental in assisting children in obtaining acceptance to colleges of their dreams and guiding them toward the path to success.

Every day while being selfless and serving the citizens of West Palm Beach, Bill has been fighting stage 4 metastatic melanoma cancer.

At 44 years old, married with two awesome sons (13 and 4 years old), Bill is being placed into Hospice care and worries about the future of his family.

Proceeds will be used to help Bill, his wife Heather and their two boys during this time in their lives, 100% of funds raised will be given to the Nealy Family.
