Ned Weller

Hello. Frank, Bob & Marc, three close friends of Ned’s from Albright College are reaching out to others to help provide emotional and financial support to Ned and his family as he battles Lewy Body Dementia. Ned has been battling this terrible and debilitating disease with love and support from his incredible family for several years. We want to help with the battle and are asking for your support as well. Ned was a Social Welfare major at Albright. In that vein he has always been there to help and assist others, please consider doing the same for Ned.
Ned has been active in his community and church. He coached both baseball and softball for Hatboro Little League and basketball for Hatboro Horsham hoops, fulfilling his Albright nickname “Coach Weller”. He was a sideline judge for youth soccer and had his ultimate dream job as announcer for Hatboro Horsham Lady Hatters! Ned and Jill have been active in their previous church community as youth leaders at Supplee Memorial Presbyterian church. For the past several years they have been active at Keystone Montgomeryville.
Not surprisingly Ned was also an inspiration in his work life. Ned was a dedicated employee for HPIS and then GHX for nearly 25 years, rising to the position of Director of Client Services. This role made sense as like with all things in life, Ned embodied everything about the word "Service" - so much so that his slogan around the office was, "I live but to serve!" Ned’s ability to juggle many clients and somehow manage to keep so many happy was amazing. Ned knew the importance of relationships, a strong work ethic, and most beautifully, the ability to bring authenticity (and humor!) to everything he did. We cherish this about Ned.
Most of all Ned is a husband, father, and recent grandfather. He and Jill have a blessed relationship for more than 30 years and you can still see that spark when they are together today! Over many years Troy and Jordan have received Ned’s devotion to their lives and wellbeing. The recent addition of 2 grandchildren, Tristen and Brooks, brings a smile to everyone’s faces.
Ned has been a resident of and receiving care at Bristol House Memory Care located in Warrington for the past year. All donations will be used to help support Ned’s care at the Bristol House. Any amount you are willing to contribute is greatly appreciated. Please take a moment to share this request with family and friends. Thank you for your support.
