Need a car and a roof

I have worked on the Mendocino Coast as a professional locksmith for 38 years.  I took my car in to have the water pump replaced, and instead, the mechanic admitted he cracked my engine block.  I was then promised another vehicle from the garage owner. This happened in November of 2017. 

The garage got me a replacement vehicle but it also had problems that never got repaired.  I waited until May of this year.  All I received were promises.  I sued the garage and lost. Lost my rental, my furniture and my cats . Now living in a tent with no running water or a place to cook.  We have no 'frig.  Have one electrical outlet. 

I am sinking further into debt because I cannot pay my bills.  Can barely meet rent, let alone money for food, etc.  I live with a young friend who needs medical attention but there is no transportation.  I hitchhike to go shopping for bare necessities.

I am 74 years old, 75 in November. I have all my locksmithing tools, and am ready and eager to get back to work. I still get calls from potential customers, wanting to hire me. I really could use a "leg up" to get out of this nightmare.  I need a car so I can earn my keep, and with luck, find a home before the rains come. I want to get back to serving the community and be part of it again.
