Needing emergency hardship assistance if possible
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Amanda. I'm a single mom as well as a full time employee & student. I'm currently in the final stretch of studying for a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and I own my own home in North Carolina. I'm creating a fundraiser for my birthday month, as I am facing financial hardship due to my job being outside & depending on the mercy of the weather. Between rain and heat it's put a dent in my budget and while I have sought public assistance, I have since expunged those options. Unfortunately jobs are difficult to find but I remain persistent in finding a peer support career once I graduate school in February 2025.
As many parents & families in America, I live paycheck to paycheck. Creating a fundraiser gives my support system the option to help instead of putting them in the awkwardness of my asking burdening them each individually. I understand times are rough for us all, and my child and home remain my top priority. I'm asking for a goal amount of $800 to meet our financial needs during this difficult time. I plan to use the funds for school clothes for my child's upcoming school year (I've already gotten her school supplies), mortgage payment as well as much needed automotive upkeep to maintain my transportation to & from work as my check engine light is on with a diagnostic code of P420 (catilityc converter *spelling error*) Anything left over will go towards gas for my vehicle.
At all costs, I'm adamant on staying afloat. And I appreciate any and all participation in this fundraiser, even if it's just a share.
All I want for my birthday is to pay the bills for the month, in hopes to get ahead as quickly as possible. Please, share if you cannot donate.
Thank you for reading this far. Thank you very much.
