Need help for Social Security Over Payment

Hi. My name is Elie. We all know social security doesn’t let people work and get back on their feet, they literally allow you to make 200$ or penalize you. Now I got charged an overpayment that I tried handling March of last year. They never answered my calls.

The Guy who works nights never showed up, so I was stuck working from 2pm to 6am in the morning doing double multiple times a week and holidays. Of course social security thought it was salary based and don’t care about the unexpected overtime.

SSI decided to claim it was an overpayment and is charging me 5,208$ I don’t have that. After bills I’m lucky to save 100$ let alone have enough to pay this ridiculous amount. If I still had this ssi payment I would be able to put more aside. It’s not like I’m a lawyer, it’s not like I never lived on the street because ssi doesn’t give enough. And I’m a hard worker, finally almost fully up and running.
