Need Help Recovering From Spinal Nerve Injury

Hello friends, family and everyone in between. I have been laid up, unable to work for two months now because of two severely compressed nerve-roots in my neck and no disability benefits in sight.

I could not continue at my job because of the immobility and pain in my neck, right shoulder and right arm. Also, sleep and most every other everyday function has been majorly compromised from this unfortunate injury.

I am going to regular physical therapy, continue to have scans, and my Primary Care Doctor has approved me to recieve temporary disability but EDD California has DENIED me any disability benefits.

Their reason being that I did not work enough last year to qualify. I guess they forgot all about Covid and the shut down and the lack of jobs and just the dangers of working and everything else in general that we all went through last year.

So, here I am - literally below zero $ - with bills and rent piling up and the stress of it and my recovery ahead truly overwhelming my mind and my daily life.

I am starting this GoFundMe so I can make it through the next few months (when hopefully I will be back in tip-top working shape) and not have to dwell in this constant cloud of worry so I can give my physical recovery my full attention.

As it should be for anyone with a sustained disabling injury.

I truly appreciate any help you can give. It will not be ignored and will forever be remembered. And I will ABSOLUTELY use it toward my best-foot-forward future !
