Need help staying warm this winter

My husband was out of work for almost five months this year. He thankfully secured another full time job with benefits in late July. Having to pay the mortgage and other living expenses, plus COBRA benefits during that time used up all of our savings, emergency funds and credit card. We have been struggling to get back on track ever since. I have begun working part time at our church (the younger kids can be with me) and we are negotiating with any creditors to continue getting bills paid as best we are able. This week, our very old boiler decided to fall apart (literally). Our wonderful service person is searching to see if they even make parts for something this old. We most likely need to replace the entire system. It provides both heat and hot water for our house. With all our financial troubles recently there is no chance of any kind of financing, even if we could afford payments, which we cannot. Any help is gladly appreciated and we will pay it forward as soon as we are able.
