Need help to get my wheelchair van drivable

Hi my name is Mary Stevens I am disabled and permanently in a wheelchair

I am doing a fundraiser because I got scammed by a general contractor I was taken for everything I had I hired him to fix the front end on my handicap van which I depend on and to convert it to a handicapped camping van. So i can enjoy camoing and the outdoors with my husband and daughter. I wanted a bed built with storage under it, solar panels put in, a shelf built for storage, hitch installed, stereo, speakers and amp installed, back up camera installed, stereo and speakers were installed not the amp, backup camera is no where to be found it wasn't installed and not in our van I supplied the camera and it wasn't returned in the van when it came home. He had our van 9 months only thing done was the stereo, I have not been able to leave my home for 9 months

I am so sick and heartbroken that a general contractor would take advantage of a disabled person like this and he never fixed the front end on our van He took us for OVER $10,000 to have this done I can't go anywhere without this van this mechanic had it 9 months and only thing that was done was the stereo and speakers installed. I had my van looked at by a mechanic that went to inspect it when it got home and nothing was done to the front end at all. I have screenshots from all our text messages and copies of the funds that I sent to him over the 9 months thinking he was doing the work. This van is not drivable I can't leave the house or even go to doctor appointments until we can get the van drivable. When this guy dropped off the van he told me if I badmouth him he will put a lein on my house I am heartbroken, angry and so scared

I have no funds now to get my van repaired

This is my wheelchair van the only thing I can get in for transportation.

We are in the process of filling in small claims court papers. I am calling the District Attorney too so I can see what I need to do

I am stranded can't leave my home until we can get the van back in drivable condition
