Jones Family - Tom Girardi American Greed

We are Holly, Kellie, and Matt Jones. In 2012, we hired Giradi-Keese to help us in a lawsuit against the Risperdal company that has caused Matt's gynecomastia. Just recently we found out they had filed bankruptcy. They received the money from our settlement but hasn't given it to us. We were going to use the money to fix or replace our house. We were contacted by Harriet Ryan from the LA Times who wanted to interview us for an article about Giradi-Keese and his wife. We have included the article below (about 2/3 of the way down).  We own and live in an older mobile home and it is in need of major repairs or possibly a new trailer home to put on this land. The roof is leaking which is causing damage to the ceilings, the wood around the windows is rotting, the floors are starting to unlevel in some places, the floor is sinking in where the washer and dryer are in the hallway, the bathroom, and the back bedroom, the deck is rotting, and there are some problems with the plumbing. When we first bought the house in 2014, the problems were only minor and our husband/dad Michael Jones was going to fix it. In 2015, he was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma and passed away in 2016. We have been unable to afford nor do the work ourselves as we don't have the knowledge or capability to. In May 2019, there was an incident with the company cleaning the sewer lines in our city. They were using too much pressure and sewage water erupted forcefully from the toilet. That is the cause of the floor sinking in the hallway where the washer and dryer are, the bathroom, and the back bedroom. It has also caused the plumbing problems and causes a really bad sewer smell in the bathroom. The company is only offering $500 to help the repair. They refuse to help us anymore even though we have proof that it was their fault. Shortly after that happened, we had an estimate for $5,500 but it could be more because the extent of the damage under the floor is unknown. We have tried to go through the house insurance but of course, our policy does not cover water/sewage damage even though it was not our fault. We are becoming desperate to find a way to either fix our house or replace it. However, the house is in such disrepair that it's going to be very expensive. Holly and Matt are both disabled. Kellie works two part time jobs, one of which is being a caregiver for her mother Holly. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. God bless.
