Need new camera gear to get a job

I lost my job and am desperately needing to buy new personal camera equipment and a laptop so I can take on freelance gigs while I took for my next career move.
My camera is so old it doesn't have any video function.
My computer takes 20 mins to turn on then crashes while I edit photos. I'm on the old student version photoshop and need to upgrade.
I also need to buy a lav microphone set and video tripod.
Would be great to start saving towards a long lens so I can freelance high school and college sports games, but that's another $5,000 commitment.
This year has been rough financially. For the first time in my life I have medical debt (broke my foot, physical therapy on sprained ankle, caught the flu twice, depression meds then went to the ER twice with excruciatingly painful throat virus. Also trying to fix forward head posture at the chiropractor.
I'm looking forward to applying to my big dream jobs, but until then I could use some help getting back on my feet.
