More information about The Fix Foundation: Simply Cats, an adoption program that finds homes for over 1000 cats per year, finds themselves needing to replace their minivan after it was rear ended the other day. Due to the age and high miles, the repairs are going to exceed what the insurance company determines the percentage of value of the vehicle. This leaves our best, older vehicle needing to be replaced. We aren't looking for fancy or new, just a dependable vehicle with less than 130,000 miles. The Dodge Caravan has been a great choice as it offers lower priced options compared to many others. Our only real requirement is that it also have rear air. We drive about 1000 miles per week to 8 PETCO stores and 1 Persmart store. This adoption program averages 1000 cat adoptions per year and a dependable vehicle is an absolute necessity. While we have a back up van, it is older and not reliable and we were originally planning to replace it. The accident has forced us to focus on this one first.
