Need Some Help - Miles's Big Surgery Adventure!

Hello, friends! As many of you know, Miles has been living with Crohn's Disease for 20+ years, but in the last two years things have gotten very difficult and uncomfortable for him. We are now at the point where surgery is the only viable option. His surgery is scheduled for this Thursday, March 2nd. This surgery is to remove additional bowel, repair a probable fistula, and remove scar tissue from his first bowel resection surgery 20 years ago that is creating a stricture and preventing any food or liquids from being processed and passed. Depending on what they discover, this may be the first of two surgeries. We are very hopeful that this surgery will give him significant relief and provide him some time to have new medications take affect and make his Crohn's more manageable or even go into remission (the dream!)!

We are asking for help in covering at least a portion of our medical deductible (total $4,000.00 plus 20% coinsurance after deductible is met), as well as help with easy meals and potential childcare. Miles will be in hospital for an estimated 3-7 days following surgery and will be restricted physically upon his release. I (Destiny) will be entering tech week and opening Rocky Horror the week Miles will be most unavailable. We have a plan in place while I am in rehearsals, but as we know, things come up and we want to be prepared for anything. Any help you might be able to provide towards Miles's deductible and to help ease a bit of the strain we are experiencing would be beyond appreciated.

If you are not able to give financially but would like to offer help with chores or make a meal, we would love it. Honestly. Give us all the casseroles, Felix loves pasta, we can even cook together and sneak veggies in, he'll never know. Just sit and visit with us while I lay in a pile of unfolded laundry while I catch my breath. Miles's recovery will take a bit, we will gratefully accept any help you would like to offer.
