Need help with rent please!!!

Hello everyone.

My name is Elizabeth Ragsdale. I am 67 years old and I live in Nashville, Tennessee.  l live with my 15 year old dachshund Lilly. I only draw social security. We need help for rent and other living expenses..This is my story.

In 2019, I unexpectedly had to have surgery on my back. It was a difficult surgery to recovery from and could not work for a while.  Once I was able to go back to work, Covid hit. I did find a job working in an office setting but I was having issues with my asthma and I had to leave this job. Because of all this I got behind in paying rent.

Then I began to hurt terribly in my knee and hip. My doctor which did my knee replacement several months earlier, referred me back to the orthopedic back specialist who performed my first back surgery. It was discovered I had some bad issues in my lower lumbar area that need another more serious surgery. So I had the surgery and have had physical therapy twice a week since March of this year. This was a much intense surgery than the first one was. Because the recovery is taking much longer, I have not been able to work. Ive tried to find a remote job where I could work from home but with no luck. 

My rent with a late fee of 10%, $20 a month pet fee, water bill fee and a $10 maintenance fee comes to $1795 for Dec which is past due. I've reached out to different agencies but seems they are all out of funds.
