Need transmission in my 2008 cadillac escalade esv

Hello to all my friends and family ya know I hate to ask for money but I have no other option my car needs a transmission. Out here a car is a necessity not a luxury. Everything is faraway there's no trains and the bus starts running at 7am every hour and on the weekends it stops running early. Cabs minimum is $15 and if you do food shopping get prepared to pay for extra shopping cart. When I do food shopping I usually have 2-3 carts it's 7 of us the cab charges $5 per cart untop of what your ride is. I lost my job at the post office due to you can't get a bus or cab early in the morning like you can in nyc . My wife can't walk like that she needs a knee replacement and has arthritis on both knees and on her lower lumber so she's constantly in pain when it's the cold and when it's raining. Since the transmission got messed up she's missed a cuple of her aappointments because the medical ride is crazy they are not based in the US so she needs to verify that the clinic or hospital that she has appointments at is a real place sine they are clueless of where anything is at. Now it's hard to get in contact with anyone cause when you call all you get is a robot not a human like before so she can't get in contact with her primary doctor so they can schedule her rides. If I had my car I can take her and make it to work early. Please anything you can give will be grateful aprisiated it doesn't have to be a big amount, just whatever you can give. The goal is the amount I put in the front it will cover it all from getting getting the transmission, and the mechanic bill.
