Need You Now - Mobile App Development

Hello everyone!

I appreciate you stopping by my page and wanting to learn more about my mobile app development! My name is Neil, and I am a high school teacher from Toronto, Ontario, Canada specializing in Business Studies & Social Sciences.

 

Vision: This mobile application is centred around the concept of safety.

 

"NEED YOU NOW" is an app that is designed to help people when they find themselves in an uncomfortable situation or an environment in which they are unfamiliar and may feel unsafe.

It is designed for anyone who may find themselves being followed, or in a potentially dangerous situation that has a possibility of escalating further. All videos are original content with multiple people, languages and various situations.

In the app are a series of pre-recorded, simulated video calls with text prompts to help you for your replies in case you cannot think of what to say.

Inspiration: This idea was inspired by a Tik Tok video that I made for anyone who may have thought they were being followed. I have attached the original video in the link here.

 

How the funds will be used

The funds will be used for the following purposes:

 

1. Marketing - Social media campaign & Commercial

I have designed a digital marketing campaign across multiple relevant networking platforms that will use premium features to reach my target audience. I am also working with a Canadian videographer to make a commercial specifically shown on these platforms. ($3000 CAD/$2200 USD)

 

2. Developing the application for Apple/iOS - This is very expen$ive! This will cost approximately $7000 CAD (or $5100 USD)

Videos and content in three different languages are completed and uploaded, ready to be accessed whenever. More languages and different situations are continually being added every week!

 

Important Things to Note

 

1. This app is FREE and has no user/subscriber fee.

 

2. "Need You Now" is NOT a social network application, and it is designed to keep you feeling safe in a time of potential danger. You have unlimited access to all the content provided on the app.
