Needing help for Laverne Cooper in her battle

Hi, my name is Michael Lang and we have put this page together to help our best friend, Laverne Cooper, and her family as she battles breast cancer. The cost for her treatment is extremely high. The money will be used for treatments and other bills that are coming due. She is still holding down her job at an infusion center and raising her 15-year-old daughter. She is our life group Bible teacher, a champion for the homeless, and a prayer warrior for others in need. Her husband Michael works for the Houston police department. Laverne and Michael have six children with one still at home. On May 13, 2023. They received news that she has cancer and their world took a turn that has left them shaken, but not defeated. Kelsey Seybold has estimated treatments once a week for the next 8 to 12 months. Not only are they dealing with not having family medical leave at work but her husband Michael has had to give up two part-time jobs in order to take care of Laverne. They are facing trials and dark nights filled with uncertainty which your prayers and donations can help to alleviate.
