Needing help for the animals who can’t help themselves

Donation protected
Hey there,

My name is Zachary Grover, and I'm reaching out for some much-needed help. You see, on my property in Olympia, Washington, there's a whole crew of cats well over 20 of them. Most of these poor furballs were dumped here by folks who couldn't or wouldn't care for them anymore.

It's not just my place, though. Stray cats are a common sight in our neighborhood. Most of us do what we can to help them out, but it's overwhelming. These cats are everywhere, struggling to survive on the streets.

I do everything I can to make sure these cats have food, shelter, and love. But sometimes, it’s just not enough. There are just more cats out here needing help than I can possibly care for alone. Luckily, there are a couple of other people that go around and help feed the other cats around the neighborhood, but even then, it’s more than we can handle. I’ve been told by a few people that we have one of the biggest, if not the biggest, community of stray cats anywhere around here.

Another big challenges is getting them spayed and neutered. Some of these cats are so skittish they won’t let anyone get near them and even the ones that do it can be a struggle finding the money or even transportation to get it done since our car has been broken down for months. It’s a constant struggle to ensure we don’t have more kittens adding to the population.

Keeping them fed and healthy is a real challenge, especially on a tight budget. I usually buy a 20lb bag of cat food every 2-3 days and it adds up fast. I honestly spend way more money to feed them than I do to feed myself which I’m happy to do so but sometimes, it's a choice between my own dinner or theirs, and there have been many times where this is the case. I’ll get them food over myself since I’d rather go hungry instead of 20 or so animals who have no choice or way to feed themselves. And don't get me started on vet bills those can really break the bank especially with how little income I get. From experience, if they don’t get the help as soon as they need it, most will pass away, which is the worst and most heartbreaking thing ever

I'm not asking for a handout, just a helping hand. Your support could mean the world to this furry family of mine. Whether it's a few bucks or just spreading the word, every little bit counts.

So, if you've got a soft spot for animals like I do, please consider chipping in. And even if you can't, just knowing you care means a lot.

Thanks a bunch,

Zachary Grover

P.S. Whenever we do have kittens we always try and give them to whoever can give them a caring and loving home if your ever looking for one just message me on here and I’ll get back to you!
