The unfortunate politicization of our school’s policies has created ideological frameworks that have incentivized our children’s inability to deal with conflict and the diminishment of freedom of speech. This over-sensitivity trend amplified by the digital immediate gratification era has made it an impossible terrain for honest school employees like Toni Evans. At 68 years old, she has been stripped of all her benefits and retirement. She will have no income or retirement in 4 months. Have we become so deluded?
Toni Evans believed it was her purpose in life to nourish our children and was traumatized when she was informed about her forced resignation from her Local School District. During her years at her school, Toni connected with numerous students, not only as a teacher, but as a friend; a blessing. Some may even say she was family. Due to her resignation in lieu of termination, Toni Evans, 68, is denied the rest of her life.
