Negras Quilombolas Production

As Candaces is a Afro-Brazilian Dance and Drum children's ensemble. We were nominated to participate in the 2013 New Orleans Fringe Festival managed-venue production from November 21-24 and Family Fringe Festival November 23rd. We have a total of 23 students in grades Kindergarten - sixth grade that are participating in this production. We need money for our 23 cast members such as; Costumes, art supply, stage props, instrument repairs, drum sticks, drum straps, bus transportation, marketing material (flyers, videos, posters, press kits), rehearsal venues, rehearsal snacks, rehearsal dance wear, etc. Everything we have so far has come from the producer, Ja'nese Brooks-Galathe, out of pocket expense. However; to make this production a great success and fulfill the dreams and goals of the producers and the cast members we need to raise these funds.
