NEIGHBORHOOD CURBSIDE CANVAS PROJECT
Donation protected
The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help offset the costs of our volunteer artists' art supplies, in their effort to help our cause.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD CURBSIDE CANVAS PROJECT is a volunteer neighborhood-recovery effort, uniting local artists with struggling New York City restaurants to transform pop-up dining patios into street art, for the purposes of driving greater interest, energy and business back into our COVID-coping communities.
This is currently a community barter agreement, as the struggling restaurants don't have the means to formally pay for the artistic transformation. They will give restaurant gift certificates in exchange for their artist's time. Additionally, artists are also struggling more than ever and are unlikely to have the means to spend hundreds of dollars on the art supplies necessary for each piece of art. Lastly, we have basic operating costs (web hosting, tech, printing) to help enable and promote our artists and restaurants. Given we have more and more restaurants signing on in neighborhoods all over the city, we'll need to continuously keep up with these costs. We're counting on each community to help us make these transformations happen!
The Project thanks you.
The Artists thank you.
The Restaurants thank you.
Your Neighborhood thanks you.
