Neighborhood TNR project
Tax deductible
This fundraiser is to help cover costs of the TNR project we are working on in the neighborhood at Elliot & Val Vista. We have teamed up with Sassy Cats TNR, a reputable group here in the East Valley
Trap, Neuter, Return (known as TNR) is the humane way to control stray cat populations. TNR will reduce the number of cats in these colonies over time, by ending the continuous breeding cycle of outdoor stray cats. Once cats are neutered/spayed, aggressive behavior, fighting, spraying and howling will no longer be an issue and cats can return to their outdoor homes to live better lives. If we are able to determine that any of these cats are friendly, we will work with rescues to get them adopted!
We will be in the neighborhood working on trapping cats, so if you currently feed them please reach out to Kim so we can coordinate scheduling their feeding with trapping.
Each cat will cost $35-50 depending on sex at the Altered Tails Mesa clinic (low cost feral friendly)
A great resource to learn about TNR and it’s benefits: www.alleycat.org/our-work/trap-neuter-return/
