**Help us provide hearty, delicious food and meals to our neighbors this Thanksgiving season**

Hey there! We’re North Brooklyn Angels, a volunteer-powered non-profit in Brooklyn that has been feeding hot meals to the community since 2017. The Angels bring food to where the need is, through our mobile soup kitchen (the Angelmobile), which now regularly serves over 1,500 hot, healthy meals a week at six locations in North Brooklyn.

This holiday season, we are thrilled to reignite Neighbors Giving Thanks, a project to bring a happy and dignified Thanksgiving to our neighbors in Greenpoint/Williamsburg amid the ongoing challenges from COVID-19 pandemic. This project, orchestrated by so many of our wonderful local volunteers, community partners, and board members is modeled off of the past two years’ success, taking on an ambitious number of phases beginning a week before Thanksgiving:

The distribution of almost 1,000 frozen turkeys to our local families in need;
the preparation and distribution of over 1,000 delicious holiday meals at our regular community outposts on the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and to top everything off,
the Angels will be taking over THREE locations in North Brooklyn to serve over 500 socially-distanced sit-down Thanksgiving Day meals to local neighbors (with pick-up options available for freshly packaged meals). We’ll be hosting lunch meals at the Ascension Church in Greenpoint, Church of Our Lady Mt Carmel in Williamsburg, and Most Holy Trinity Church in East Williamsburg.

To make this happen, we need your help! Your support means even more as food (and turkey!) costs have risen so much in the last few months. If you can donate and then spread the word to others who might also contribute, that would go a long way to help us help our neighbors!
