Fight for Amon Creek & Oppose Willowbrook Apts

Donation protected
Located next to Claybell Park in Richland, WA is the Amon Creek Natural Preserve. This publicly owned land contains precious wetlands and is home to a rich diversity of fish, bird and mammal species. Developers seek to encroach on the legally-required wetland buffer with a 96-unit multi-family apartment complex.

The apartments will increase traffic by almost 1,000 trips per day through Piper Street in the Willowbrook subdivision and Broadmoor street through a secondary access road that violates City code and zoning laws.

This fund has been set up to hire and pay legal expenses to fight the developers and City of Richland and to require them to follow the City laws and codes protecting neighborhood safety and wetland buffer habitat. All money raised will be spent on legal services to defend neighborhood safety and defend the Amon Creek Preserve.
