Every parents worst night is a reality for a dear friend of mine.

Christina received a call in the middle of night that her only child had been involved in a car accident and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Neil Henley was the 19 year old young man pronounced dead on the scene of the car accident on highway 28, Friday at 1040pm. 

Neil was the innocent passenger along with his friends who all have sustained injuries due to the senseless act of the driver. 

Christina and Mike had one child, Neil Henley and he was taken in a terrible accident. Neil was only 19 years old and just graduated from St. Mary's in Cobourg. He had his entire life ahead of him, and now he will never get to experience all of the fun times he should have. College, traveling,  first true love, marriage, babies, the works, was all ripped from him due to a an terrible car accident. 

Christina and Mike were well known in our community as giving their shirts off their backs. Christina was a long term employee at the Golden Plough Lodge in Cobourg and was involved in community events. Christina probably cared for many of our loved ones and loved her jog caring for people. 

In this time of mourning this family needs our support both emotionally and financially. They will have lots of upcoming expenses with the funeral, time off work, and anything else they may need during this horrible time.

As a mother myself I couldn't imagine the death of my only child at 19 years old due to a terrible accident.
