Nellie's Needs
Donation protected
Some of you know her as a daughter, a wife, a mother, a close relative, a friend , a youth pastor, a caregiver to your child, a co-worker, a helping hand, a friendly smile in passing...I know her both as a loving daughter-in-law and a friend. I've watched her grow from a shy "school girl" to a "cheerleader" mom - not just to her own children; but to many others...at church, at work, at school, etc.
After experiencing symptoms of facial numbness and arm tingling, Nellie was diagnosed two months ago with a brain tumor. After many tests it was determined that the best course of action is for Nellie to go to Mass General within the next few weeks (date to be determined), and have the tumor removed. This extensive process will consist of 1+ week(s) in the hospital and two or more months of recuperation at home. No work and minimal movement.
With two children still in school and one starting college there will be many financial challenges between medical bills and living expenses.
While Nellie's faith is giving her an extremely positive outlook on this situation, and also keeping a smile on her face; I have decided to set up this fund in her name in hopes of relieving some of her burdens. She will not have any income coming in during this entire process, so I'm hoping to start receiving donations for her as soon as possible. Your prayers are most welcome as well. Thank you for your kind generosity.
