On Sunday morning April 2 we received some devastating news. Nelly Sousa went into cardiac arrest. She is only 47 years old. She is currently in the hospital fighting for her life under the best possible care. Her husband Cici and daughters Jordyn and Alexia are at her bedside distraught with grief but praying for the best. The family were to go on a cruise this week to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. Instead they are huddled in a hospital room praying for her survival.
Those of you who know Nelly, know her as the most outgoing funny person you will ever meet. She brings laughter to all of our lives with her silliness, her incredible wit and joy of life. You cannot imagine how much sadness this brings to all of us knowing how she lived compared to her current condition.
Unfortunately, the type of care Nelly needs will be very expensive. The bills will not stop pouring in as we all know. This is additional stress on the family we all can help relieve. Whatever you can do to ease the burden will be appreciated. You may not be there to comfort them, but you can help by giving so the family can focus on being by her side.
Please keep her in your prayers. We have faith that God will heal her and bring her back to her family.
