Nelson Family And Memorial Fund
My name is Heather, and this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write about, but I’ll do my best.
Last Thursday, my husband Scott, didn’t come home to us. “Us” meaning myself, and our 13 year-old son, Trevor. It was getting a little later than usual, so I decided to call him. It went straight to voicemail. I waited about 10 minutes for him to return my call, as always. Then I called him again, and the same thing happened. My husband was always very good at returning my calls promptly, because he didn’t want to worry me, and vice versa. After several attempts, and getting the same results, I called Scott’s mother, Nina, to see if she had heard from him. She said she texted him in the morning, and he didn’t text her back till about 12:30 that afternoon. My sweet husband passed away sometime after that.
Nina told me that I should go to his work, to see if he was there, and to my surprise, his personal truck, and the work truck were still there. I had a feeling that something was very wrong, so I had our son come with me to my husband’s workplace, so he didn’t have to be alone, in case dad needed medical attention for some reason. After being on the phone with Nina, pounding on his locked office door, and yelling his name over and over, with no response I called 911. It was all a blur after that! Officers showed up, broke into his office, and as soon as the door was opened, my husband, Trevor’s dad, and Nina’s son, was lying on the floor already gone.
Scott and I were together for 29 years, and 22 years married! He was only 56 years-old. He paid ALL our bills, and now Trevor and I need all the financial support we can get, to be able to keep our house and pay all those bills. So I find myself having to swallow my pride, and accept monetary gifts from others to help us move on, and have a sense of security, during the most difficult time of our lives!
All donations will go to the immediate family of the Nelsons for Bills, Monthly Mortgage, and The Celebration of Life, of Scott Nelson. The money Is needed as soon as possible to cover immediate expenses.
