Help Leslie and 6 children after loss of husband

I’m wanting to start this fundraising page to assist a friend’s family in need of financial assistance during an unthinkably difficult and unbearable loss. Nelson Hammack leaves behind his wife Leslie and their 6 children. In the words of Leslie: “please pray for our babies. Losing my husband is the absolute worst. But watching my kids lose their father is so much worse.”

I am trying to raise funds to assist Leslie financially to support her growing young family and ease a bit of the enormous burden she carries as a now widowed mother. Any donation would be very appreciated.

Obituary:

Nelson D. Hammack, 40, of Milltown, Indiana died on April 29, 2022 at his residence. Nelson was born on December 29, 1981 in New Albany, Indiana to Marvin Hammack and Sondra (Saltz) Joseph.

Nelson was a handyman and of the Christian Faith.

Nelson was preceded in death by a brother, Jarod Hammack.

He is survived by his wife Leslie N. (Scott) Hammack; his mother Sondra Joseph of Georgetown, Indiana; father Marvin Hammack of Orleans, Indiana; sons Gabriel Higdon, Daniel Hammack, Christian Hammack, and Alex Hammack all of Milltown, Indiana; daughters Layla Hammack and Emerald Hammack both of Milltown, Indiana; sisters Leslie A. Hammack and Lisa Smith both of English, Indiana.
