Help Nemr And His Family To Build Their Life Again

Hello my name is Nemr from Gaza. I am communicating to you with a broken heart because my home and clothing store (our only source of income) in Northern Gaza were completely destroyed due to the war.

My apartment complex before the war and after it was destroyed.

My family of 8 have been displaced from north to south since October 2023 until securing a small, dilapidated room in Deir al Balah in central Gaza that barely fits us all. The weekly rent is also very expensive. We have not been able to obtain a stable income for more than a year, making it very difficult to provide the basic needs for my family.

As of November 2024, there is barely any food available in the market and the prices are extremely inflated, making it impossible to feed my whole family well, and enough. Bread is a staple but even a 25kg bag of flour costs more than $100 USD, and prices increase daily.

We are living extremely difficult days due to the lack of food, water, electricity, warmth, comfort, medicine and treatment. It is unsafe to go outside and there is the risk of epidemics, disease and illness due to unhygienic streets, cold weather and lowered immunity.

I want to finish what I started before this war happened. We invested my father's savings and my mother's gold to start my clothing business which was my pride and joy. Suddenly, the war started and we were forced to leave it without looking back as we had no other choice but to survive.
