Neng Xiong

Hello,

Our father, Ga Neng Xiong, recently passed away on 10/17/2022. He was a wonderful father to his children, a brother to his siblings and cousins, and a kind son to his mother. Those who know our father know that he made a difference in the lives of those around him.

Our father has always been passionate and selfless in his efforts to assist the Hmong community and anyone who comes to him, whether for advice or monetary assistance. Ga Neng Xiong became the president of a non-profit organization, Hmong Southeast Puavpheej or HSP, in 2017. He saw the community's issues in the HSP land field during the Hmong New Year and decided to take the initiative. He has made significant accomplishments for the community: 1) building a secondary road for drivers and visitors, enabling them to enjoy the event more freely, and 2) creating a pipeline from the parking area to prevent vehicles from getting stuck in the mud during rainfall. The biggest yet is getting another portion of land for visitors to park on to prevent overflow parking. Throughout all his leadership work for the community, his most prominent supporters came from his own family. Ga Neng leaves behind his beloved wife, 10 children - 5 sons, 5 daughters - and his grandchildren. His personal goal is very simple: to see his children and grandchildren until old age.

After his HSP presidency ended, he was diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma, which quickly spread to his heart. We are all devastated by the loss of our kind father. We want to give him the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes...

We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of our father's - Ga Neng Xiong - medical and funeral expenses. No amount is too small; it all comes from your giving heart.
