Introducing Neomi's Virtual Buggy Pops Cart! If you've ever met Neomi or had a Buggy Pop, you've met or had an Asheville treasure. We are Lauren and JR from Michigan but had the pleasure of having Neomi and Buggy Pops at our wedding. Whether it was a farmers market or a wedding, if you've met Neomi, she made an impact on you. And right now its our turn to help Neomi and Buggy Pops. During Hurricane Helene, Neomi lost her entire inventory. That's $7,000 worth of popsicles. Not only that, but with Asheville having no water or power, there's no way for her to rebuild right now. On top of that, she's on the hook for $500 a month in kitchen rent, $1518 for pop bags, $1000 in loss from flooding, $125 a month from insurance, and so much more. She's also trying to homeschool her sweet kid because schools are closed until water returns. On a personal note, Jonathan and I will always remember our wedding guests going to town on Neomi's pops the morning after our wedding and the insane amount of compliments people gave us talking about how amazing she was throughout the night. As small business supporters, our heart breaks for her. We can't imagine how hard it is to miss out on the last farmer's market of the year, multiple private events, and the last 12 vending days of the year. As a seasonal vendor, this is devastating.
