Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund

Nepal has been hit by the worst natural disaster in recent times taking countless lives and destroying entire cities and villages.

With an already weak economy and unstable government, this has further derailed Nepal and it's citizens into chaos and uncertainty about their livelihood and sustainability.

We have seutp this campaign to collect funds for relief efforts of earthquake victims by providing funds directly to the local institutions and workers on the ground. 100% of the funds collected through this campaign will be used for relief efforts, to help survivors rebuild their lives.

We would like to encourage everyone to donate as much as they can to organizations/volunteers who are directly working on the ground. Before you donate, please verify all of your donated funds will be applied towards relief efforts and not in overhead or administration costs.



About Us
This campaign is started by my wife Ashesworee Pokhrel (https://www.facebook.com/ashu.pokhrel)  and myself, Amit Khanal. We are concernedNepalese citizens heartbroken by the earthquake and devastation in Nepal.  It has been very painful to watch our friends, neighbours and fellow citizens perish in rubbles and livelihood destryoed of those who've survived. As a result, we are doing everything we can to support the victims back home and let them know they're not alone.

We currently reside in Danville, California in USA.

Who are we raising money for
Countless people have lost ther lives and countless others have lost their homes and way of life in Nepal. We have started this campaign to collect funds to help as many victims as possible by supplying them with food, shelter, medicine and any other necessaties for their relief. 



How will be funds be spent
The funds will be provided to local charities and social workers on the ground to help through relief efforts. Funds will be transferred through Western Union Money Transfer due to it's no-transation fee policy for Nepal (http://ir.westernunion.com/News/Press-Releases/Press-Release-Details/2015/Western-Union-Rallies-Network-to-Support-Nepal-Earthquake-Relief-Efforts/default.aspx ).
