Nepal Social Impact Assoc to support healthcare in Nepal
Donation protected
Nepal Social Impact Association Incorporated was created by the students and staff of Torrens University Australia to support initiatives in Nepal that help people to live healthy and happy lives. Torrens University health students travel to Nepal each year to help out and to learn how healthcare is delivered in a low resource setting.
Why Your Support Matters:
Nepal’s healthcare system is under immense strain, and the recent floods have exacerbated the challenges. By donating, you will directly support hospitals and health programs that save lives and improve the quality of life for countless families. Every contribution, no matter the size, will have a profound impact on Nepal’s most vulnerable communities.
Help us rebuild and provide life-saving care to those who need it most.
Our current focus is on raising funds for the following healthcare providers:
1. Dhulikhel Hospital
Dhulikhel Hospital is an independent, non-government, not-for-profit institution that provides affordable, high-quality healthcare to the people of Nepal. With 18 Outreach Centers spread across rural Nepal, Dhulikhel Hospital serves as a critical lifeline for thousands of people, especially in underserved communities. It is also a telemedicine hub for Bagmati province, providing remote access to specialized care. Funds will support essential medical equipment, supplies, and services to help these communities recover from the floods.

2. Hospital and Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children (HRDC)
HRDC was founded by Dr. Banskota with the mission of providing life-changing care to children with disabilities. Today, it is Nepal’s largest pediatric orthopedic hospital, offering medical interventions, rehabilitation, and social inclusion programs to children in need. With over 25,000 consultations and 2,300 surgeries performed annually, HRDC is critical in ensuring children with physical disabilities receive the care they need to thrive. Your donations will help HRDC continue to provide specialized care and surgeries to the most vulnerable children in Nepal, especially those affected by the floods.

3. Community Leadership Nepal Foundation (CLNF)
Through CLNF, we support local community health initiatives that focus on public health, sanitation, hygiene, and education. We empower local leaders and provide resources to improve healthcare access in rural areas. With recent floods, these communities are at greater risk of diseases and health complications. Your donations will help provide much-needed healthcare and sanitation services to families who have lost everything.
