Namaste dear „forevereverest2022“ follower, dear worldwide cycling community and JUDO FOR PEACE supporters, dearest supportive Nepal mountain-loving-family!
NEPALCYCLINGSCHOOL is full of gratitude about your faith and believe of a sustainable educational future in Kathmandu and different remoted places and villages in Nepal where the local communities want to share their spirit of building trails and tracks for future training, work and jobs, hopefully tourism and races like the worldfamous „YakAttack“ will come back to this suffering country as early as possible.
That’s why we desperately need your support and help! We are trying to work on giving directly supportive equipment, gear and future scholarships to our nepalcyclingschoolkids to train them and give them opportunities, which is by all measurements a very challenging mission!
We are closely working with Laxmi Magar (XCO South Asian Games Champion) and Harka Lama (XCO Nepal National Champion) and several young coaches like Humi, Samir, Brihaspati, Prachit, Govinda and many more enthusiasts who have the knowledge of taking care about the kids for training and education.
We’ll soon also be able to send again international help and gear from Austria, Japan, USA and other countries to further instill the cycling community’s philosophy of peace and friendship. To support our inspirational vision of a new thriving future I do hope my thoughts and spirit will improve our Himalayan kids’ current situation in this struggling region.
We want to provide resources for training and studying to the local community, but would also love to see more female cyclists joining the team.
Nepalcyclingschool is our dedicated professional club in Kathmandu (Nepal) and it promotes health, education and most of all fun for its students.
As an Olympian I travel there to the Himalayan range to train in high-altitude and in the rugged terrain. I share my wealth of human knowledge with their community and the children of the area.
Due to the still rising Covid-19 variations in isolated regions like these are facing more hardship than ever. With the decline of global tourism many local people will still not be able to earn an income. And they don`t have any insurance or support from the government.
Please consider supporting Nepalcyclingschool and their members for a sustainable future. This money will be given directly to them for their necessities and for setting up this amazing possibilities for logistics, training, medical care and scholarships.
