NePDA (Nepalese Parkinson’s Disease Association) was formed in July 2017 by a group of people affected by Parkinson’s disease, doctors, and caregivers to provide help to improve the quality of life of people living with Parkinson's. In a developing country like Nepal, Parkinson's disease is still underscored and neglected. NePDA works to create awareness and foster an environment for the betterment of the people affected by this disease that is still waiting for a cure worldwide. It is a registered organization (SWC Affiliation No. 46166; Company Reg. No: 170423/73074; Tax Exemption No 120/074).
NePDA focuses on the following work:
• To identify Parkinson’s patients and to motivate them.
• To conduct awareness programs to the community.
• To conduct physiotherapy programs to improve the quality of life of patients.
• To conduct health camps in remote areas of the country.
