Nerissa's Home Burnt Down

Nerissa Long has lost everything.

On Sunday 5th May, we received a horrible call from a hysterical friend that had come back from an earlier church service to find her home had been ravaged by a ferocious fire.

Thankful that this beautiful family were out when this electrical fire took hold of their home with all furniture, clothes and memories up in smoke.

We arrived just after midday to offer our support. We pulled into her cul-de-sac, lined with onlookers and fire engines.  Knowing we were there to provide support, we fought back tears; and even before stepping out of our vehicle  - we were a blubbering mess.  What a horrific sight, completely and utterly lost for words. 

Nerissa  and Chris are left to support three wonderful children amongst other family members and pets.

We know that money cannot bring back what has been destroyed but hopefully it can alleviate a little of the burden while they pick up the pieces and start again.
