Ness' surgery costs
Donation protected
Hello!
We are Jo & James, but more importantly, this is our dog Ness.
She is a five-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who we have raised since she was a puppy.
Unfortunately, Ness suddenly started struggling to walk and after a trip to the vets and an MRI scan it was confirmed that she is suffering from Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD).
Essentially she herniated a disc in her spine and the pressure on her spinal cord caused partial paralysis in her back legs.
She had surgery at the start of this week and has now returned home, with one very large scar and orders for crate rest for four weeks, all of this likely to be followed by a lot of physio.
Ness means the world to both of us and at such a young age we want to make sure that she is able to get back to chasing tennis balls and going on adventures
Our pet insurance will only cover £1,000 of the £7,000 in costs involved with the procedure, so we are looking for any contributions to help cover the costs.
If you fancy dropping in anything towards her recovery it would be greatly appreciated; all funds raised will go towards her surgery costs.
