NB on Disability Facing Food Insecurity

UPDATED February 2024

I've found a place on a year long lease (to start). But unfortunately it's not quite over yet another government L, as I woke up to my disability living assistance being $300 less than usual. With my rent here higher than it was in the fall, I'm left with not much for food, and that's before any other bills.

I don't know why that's happened, but I'm looking into it tomorrow; at this point it's having enough to eat vs paying rent and such. Anything helps Merci beaucoup

To cut to the chase, I've been unable to work after sustaining a leg Injury that's ended up chronic pain; Now struggling to find work online. My sublet is up at the end of August and my budget as is, is limiting my potential options. Despite 7 postings, I haven't received any legit room offers. If I can't secure something soon, i won't have anywhere to live come the 1st. I never thought I'd be this close; I am genuinely scared and I don't know what else to do. Any help, even just sharing this, is greatly appreciated. Thank you
