Neutering Animals in Merseyside (NAIM)

Donation protected
I've been walking a lot since June 2024 (about 1400 miles that I have tracked on Strava, though there was more that wasn't recorded), and the furthest I've walked in one day so far is 30 miles.

So I thought I'd walk from Manchester (where I live) to Merseyside (where NAIM is based). I don't know exactly how far it will be. Google Maps says the shortest route to Liverpool YHA (if that's where I stay afterwards, which I will pay for) is 33.8 miles, but I expect it will end up being somewhat more (plus the GPS might not always be accurate). Call it 35 miles.

I'd like to raise a minimum of £350. I won't set a date yet, as it depends on the weather, and YHA availability. So it might be done at quite short notice. But probably in March.

The money will be used to subsidise neutering for dogs, cats, or small animals, who live with people who are on a low income.

Reasons to neuter: "One of the main reasons neutering is so important is to reduce the number of unwanted animals. Merseyside has one of the highest numbers of stray, abandoned and unwanted animals outside of London. Every year it is estimated that 30,000 dogs are put to sleep as there are not enough homes. There are no figures for cats and small animals, but it is anticipated they will be higher."
