Nevaeh's Village

Those who are blessed enough to know Nevaeh know how loving, caring and sweet she is.
On Saturday, Nevaeh was at my house, laughing, playing and having fun with her sister and my daughter but just a day later on Sunday night, Nevaeh went into her mother’s room in extreme pain. She was crying and screaming that her chest hurt. Her mother reports that she then went gray, then blue, and her heart stopped. She went to the local hospital but they were unable to ventilate her. The hospital sent her via helicopter to Boston Children’s Hospital where they placed her into a medical coma and were able to get her ventilated. She has suffered two cardiac arrests, and at this time, her medical team still doesn’t know what the cause is.
Currently (1/11/2023) she is out of the coma, pretty heavily sedated, and while she is still ventilated, she is attempting to breathe on her own. In addition to the cardiac arrests, she is spiking regular fevers, and has been diagnosed with pneumonia. She has also suffers a Stroke. Once they have the results of today’s MRI, and if she continues being able to breathe on her own, they will remove the ventilation tubes.
We ask for your well wishes, prayers, graciousness and generosity at this time for Neveah and her family. My hope is to provide peace so that her parents Kristina and Greg can be there for Navaeh without the worry of how to pay for medical costs, hotel stays so they can be with her in Boston, and child care needs for their youngest daughter, Niyah while they are caring for Navaeh.
This incredible family who has served our country in the USA Military is always there to help others in need in any way they can, but this time they need our help. "It takes a village", Any support big or small that you can provide for this wonderful family. Please contribute and be part of Nevaeh's village. Thank you!
